I love dragons and I love cats. This just makes sense to me.
Dracats live up high in the mountains. Their diet consists of the local goats. Poor things just aren't a challenge for these powerful beings. They compensate their lack of wings with their strong, sharp claws, capable of easily piercing the stone that composes their habitat, also serving perfectly to tear through flesh. Unfortunately, if not properly grinded down, these nails get so long that they get STUCK in the rocky cliffs they climb. A particularly intrepid journalist managed to take a set of helicopter photographs showing one of these poor individuals getting surrounded by the goats he had been hunting. Unfortunately, due to the weather, the helicopter had to return to base before the scene unfolded any further. We only know that, as they were flying away, the journalist claimed he could hear the Dracat screaming at the top of his lungs, far in the distance.
Huh, turns out there's already a Dracat species in the submission menu. Didn't know these were that popular.
