As I gaze out upon the vast sky
stars rain down upon the bitter, white expanse
I yearn for respite, a place called my own
Yet, all I see is blood and snow.This has taken me a few days to get as perfect as I can make it given my limitations.
This is a gift for my friend
svarta-perlan.This is a character theme for her character Dema, a white wolfess with a heart as strong as the blade she carries at her side. I wanted to portray a wandering, lonely spirit in the bitter cold of her homeland, searching for something she can't quite explain. She holds the beautiful snow covered land close to her heart, yet, at times it is painfully quiet and stark. Many battles have been won, but at the end of it all she still endlessly drifts; never quite able to settle.
This is something I have agonised over, trying to make it sound as emotive and 'epic' as possible with my lack of knowledge and skill. I think I did well considering it is the first time I have taken the sound production seriously. I am learning, and it feels good.

Thank you hun. I really like this piece as it isn't complicated but says everything I wanted it to say. I am glad that I "nailed it". Very glad :D I also like that picture too as I love her face. So all round I am content with this. Still not how I imagined but I can't hire an orchestra to play this for me XD *giggles*

I follow my ear a lot with my music and until now I haven't really bothered to learn how to really master things. I thought it was about time. I have so many great things in my head and have been really restricted by the lack of decent keyboard in the past, and also by my lack of skills. I am learning to learn the piano bit by bit and am considering lessons.
I also love singing so I am so happy that you love my voice. It means a lot to me!

I have that, yeah and I have a mini game I was working on a while back. It's actually a lot of fun. But a long time ago I was in anime circles, and my friends were designing games or mangas and I'd make themes for them. RPG Maker is really cute. I actually make sheep and chickens in my game that made noises when you spoke to them (you could play a tune with the sheep with their bleating at different note :|). XD I've forgotten all the stuff I could do back then as I haven't picked it back up, but I enjoyed learning Ruby.
I also figured I'd make a mini game where the user would meet all my characters and it'd act as like a FAQ sort of thing.

When you listed "epic" in the description, you weren't off at all. This is so stunningly beautiful, I absolutely refuse to believe that you aren't in training with a mysterious guy who wears a mask, or half mask. You sound so pure in voice, blending it all so well with whatever you are playing, I am always forced to stop what I'm doing to just listen. I love it. :)
Thank you so much darlin'! I am pleased you like it a lot and that it sounded epic to you. This is my first proper big instrumental type thing so I was really nervous about sharing it. I am learning still, a lot... so I didn't want people to think it was badly done. It was a lot of fun to do, I spent a total of 5 days on it trying to get it perfect.
Well, I am not really a pianist. I play but it's limited as I was never taught. It feels frustrating a lot of the time as I hear things in my head that I can't play. But I am learning which is a good thing. Abbey Road did motivate me, less so taught me anything about music. It made me regret not picking my won music up enough over the past couple of years, so I hope to change that! :D Glad you liked it, thank you ^^!
Sooooo happy you're a fan of Dema! She is a wonderful character, one I am very fond of. I am so happy that you enjoyed my character theme for her. I am so glad I chose to share it, I was very nervous but wanted to see what people thought of something different from me that opened my imagination to people better than my previous stuff.
