This is my Maned Wolf fursona, and the third fursuit head I have ever made. I think the more I've made them, the more I've learned and improved. This time I used quality luxury shag fur bought from Fabrics.com instead of the cheap junk from Joann's. I have to say, I'm pretty sure this made a HUGE difference in the quality of the head. Also my first time using an electric razor to shave down the face (thanks to my boyfriend) so that's why it looks a bit choppy on one side, since I was just getting used to how to use it.
Nose is sculpy clay with a layer of matte mod podge to make it look wet, Jaw is movable thanks to 1" elastic, Eyes are supposed to be follow-me on buckram, but the effect doesn't quite work. I may change them out at a later date with some 3D follow me eyes made out of resin, but I wanted to see how my Tooney eyes would turn out first. They're not bad, just not as follow-me as I had hoped.
The teeth I made also seem to like falling out quite a bit, but I may glue black velcro onto them to make them stick better than glue would.
I have a small fan ready to be installed, I'm working on making a removable base for the muzzle to put it in.
