Rarity sure does know how to market. I don't see how any pony could resist giving them at least a quick wear to see how they feel against their flanks.

Two situations come to mind for this.

1: Rarity invites her 5, pony friends over and asks them to "Try these" to get their opinions. A joke perhaps being when she asks, "Now tell me what you think. No holding back." And Pinkie Pie takes "No holding back" a bit too seriously. :)

2: Wanting to "Pamper" her lovable, Baby Dragon helper, Rarity offers Spike some cozy fluff to wear while he's about. "They're not diapers, per se. You might to think of them as protection. Yes, protection. I don't want anything to hurt those cute, little, chubby cheeks while your going all over the boutique cleaning things up for me." :)
