I usually draw toony stuff. Tonight I tried to keep it real. This is the first time I ever tried to draw fur texture. What I have found is that white is a total pain in the ass to try to draw texture for. I love how the dark grey came out, the white, not so much.

I like the thorough fur. Nobody ever does that and it bugs me.
One of the reasons I love scaled things is they're smooth, but you always see all this exaggerated stuff pretending to be perfectly sleek. It's just not right. Where's all the dander and shedding?
This captures that sort of thing just right, and beyond appreciating that someone (especially you) gave out an unintended reality check on fur being FUZZY, it's also masterfully done. Be proud!
