There are things I do not want to try in life. I just use other information than direct testing by myself to judge.

For example: I see no need to test the feeling of being beaten until i bleed to judge if this might makes me horny like there are people who have such a fetish. If something smells "not good" for my taste, there is no need to physically taste it. There were never a moment in life until now in all that almost 34 years when signals of my nose were differed to the signals my mouth gave me after tasting food. So if I say yuck after smelling food I do not taste it anymore out of experience. :)
