I had a depressing day yesterday. I've been getting a lot of negative comments on Devient Art, but what really got to me was on my diapered cartoons site, where that one annoying member left a very rude comment. I feel so bad that I am a babyfur, is being a babyfur against god? I don't want to give it up, it's the one kind of drawing I really like to draw, everything else is boring to me.
In this drawing, I lock myself in my room as tears go down my face. I take off my diaper and hold it in front of me, wondering if I should give it up and switch back to undies. The title is based on a stupid toilet training series.

Well it's a lil hard for me to speak to he whole thing about god. Used to be a Christian but was never deep in the faith. But I do know you should be able to find some stuff out there regarding ABDL stuff and reconciling it with faith.
All I'd have to say on the subject is that if this is something you like that brings you joy than what divine creator would be cross with you about it? It hurts no one and makes you happy. Any god worthy of that title wouldn't hold such a trivial thing against you.

I'm pretty sure its not a sin, I say that from the standpoint that I grew up and am still a believer, although over the past few months I've attempted to take more of a logical approach regarding my faith, for example
Every religion has a certain text or doctrine that they follow, and they all have one thing in common, the belief that their god is the real god and that the concept of right and wrong is all there in the doctrine in black and white. Consider this though, depending on where you were born and other factors, you may be brought up following a different religion, so you may not serve the same God as someone halfway across the world, nonetheless, you'll believe that your way is the "right" way. The problem I see with all religions or secular humanism (a pseudo-religion IMO, the belief that there is no God or sin could still be equated to religious belief) is that no one has ever died and come back to say which is the true religion and the true god
That being said, I say believe what you want and see where it gets ya, sure we may disagree on beliefs, but unless someone has absolute proof (meaning died and returned to say what it's like on the other side, if there is one) then faith is all we have to go on, believing even though we can't see? Do you get where I'm coming from? I love the theme to the show Diff'rent strokes, because it says it best "the whole world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what's right for you may not be right for someone else" =)

Yeah I get where your coming from. I used to actually share a bit of a belief like that. I described it as such. "God's like the summit of a mountain. There's lots of paths up the mountain and it doesn't matter which one you take so long as you get there eventually."
Though two points. A. Secular Humanism and Atheism are two separate things. There is often overlap though but that doesn't mean say a Christian of a more liberal slant couldn't hold Humanist beliefs and be active in that. B. You don't need absolute truth to disprove god or an afterlife you just need a means to test for it. And there are ways to test for a god that interacts with the universe.
But anyway I can agree with ya. Do what you feel is right and so long as your beliefs don't harm others have at it. ^^ *sigh* If only so many didn't insist that their religion's tenants be put into law and shared your sentiment I think everyone might be a lot happier. Besides. We can't really know for sure if there is or is not a god but we know for sure we have this life. We should try and enjoy it while we have it and let others do the same because we can't say for sure what if anything comes after.

well, my religion does not disapprove babyfur art, but they do disapprove fetishes. i have talk to my friends at church and they know i am not fetished with diapers. it is just what i choose to draw. there will always be people on the internet who act so bold who might most likely be chicken irl. this is because lots of people believe they can do whatever they want as long as nobody they troll can find them., which is true in a sense, but it gives them a negative light wherever they troll. so what i say is, keep doing what you do best. do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
Sorry to hear that, Leon. I remembered that I got a lot of negative comments from people on deviantART too when I was 13 years old. It makes me feel guilty after remembering that not-so-tragic but depressing moment when I made a negative comment on a person, that was a very bad choice, in anyone's opinion. Despite my immaturity when I was 13-14 years old, I've matured a lot. So... *hugs you with all of his feels I've got*
