Commission for the loverly
of their characters, Anakin (their version) proposing to Kaori. She's obviously screaming and squeaking 'OMGYESYESYESYES' right into his face, but Anni seems to be very okay with her excitement.
Now that I think about it, this is the third proposal image I have drawn in my "career" as a furry artist, and I can't tell you guys how much it means to be trusted with something so important. I enjoyed this, and I'm honored Kaori trusted me enough to do this for her and her mancritter.
Done with copic markers, micron inks, india ink, graphite, and white gel pen on smooth bristol board.

Its not even that he is happy, though that is a major factor in why I like it.
Its that for all the talk of good and evil, dark side and light side, I've never understood why love was outlawed for Jedi. I mean, I get the whole attachments are evil sort of thing, as what you care about can be used against you, but what the Jedi have always failed to realize is that people will fight for what they love with more passion and more effort than simply an abstract ideal like the republic seemed to be.
Which is why I love seeing Anakin in love, and that love flourishing. Its why whenever I see your Obi-wan pictures my heart melts. Because this is how the Jedi Order should have been. The Sith never would have gained so deep a foothold within the Republic and the Jedi Order never would have fallen like it did if they were allowed to have feelings for others, allowed to love and to learn how to control those feelings rather than outright denying them.
Because you cannot tempt someone with something they already have.
But yeah...end rant xD I love these pictures.
