You get a real eclectic pool of talent when you put out an open casting call to Toontown. The applicants range from "kind of a screw-up" to "most definitely a screw-up" to "don't trust this mook to keep the water in a sponge." Unfortunately, given the process of a live rehearsal, you don't really get to find out who's who until it's a tad too late.
Don't ad-lib the script, kids. It can lead to a long night of gluing feathers back on.
