I hope you all enjoy, and I would love to hear what you all think! ^_^
“Tommy, get out of there,” the boy’s mother growled, stepping out of the storeroom looking embarrassed, Tommy came out with an odd little statue in hand. “What is that?” she asked, gesturing towards the creepy little statue.
“I found it in the room, Mom,” he said looking abashed, his mother was about to reprimand him when the tour group was moving on.
“Come on, Tommy. We’re going to fall behind,” she grabbed him by his arm and pulled him along, but for a sixteen year old you weren’t going to be holding his attention with such a tedious tour. Along with the rest of the group, his mom was ooing and awing over the boring things that the tour guide was pointing out, but Tommy wasn’t entertained by anything but the little statue he had found.
It looked eerie with its sharp edges, and almost malevolent feeling, but Tommy was oblivious to that as he admired the work that had been put into it. They were in a rubber factory that made a lot of silly things like toys, and balls. Usually it wouldn’t be a problem, but as Tommy fell behind from the group he was glancing the statue over when he tripped over his shoe lace and the statue went flying into a nearby rubber vat. “No!” he shouted, Tommy leaned over the railing in hopes that he might see the statue floating in the thick blue liquid, but he didn’t see it. “Come on…” he grumbled, slipping over the railing Tommy made his way over to the vat to look at its contents.
Tommy almost dipped his hand into the goo but thought better of it when he saw how it bubbled. “Well I’m never getting that back…” he muttered, looking annoyed as he started back towards the railing. From behind the human, the blue goo started to take on a life of its own as it rose to form into a giant demon looking creature. Tommy was oblivious until he heard a low growling noise from behind him. Turning around Tommy nearly fell in shock as he saw the goo creature looking itself over. “Wh… what are you?” Tommy asked, not quite sure what to think of the monster.
The demon held its hand up to look over its new body, the light glistened off of the liquid like material, and as it turned its gaze forward it saw Tommy standing there dumbfounded. The demon’s body was ripped, even with being a creature made out of goo. Tommy couldn’t help but admire the shear strength that it protruded, but fear overrode his amazement and he had to stand before running away. “I’m dreaming… I’m dreaming…” he kept telling himself, as he pinched himself trying to wake up.
Even though it had been in statue form, the demon recognized the human who had freed it from the prison that it had been put into long ago. Realizing that its freer was running away, the demon had an idea. From its rubber body several tentacles swung out and careened towards Tommy, grabbing him in their clutches the human writhed trying to get away. “Help!” he shouted out, praying that someone would come and save him, but the group had already moved on and his mother was far too interested in the rubber related industry to notice that her son was missing.
Tommy’s mouth was suddenly yanked open as the blue goo poured into his mouth, and though even as he tried to throw up the disgusting tasting rubber it wouldn’t leave him. The tentacles disappeared as Tommy fell to his knees, outside he looked normal but on the inside he felt the liquid doing something to his body. His blood was being polluted by the blue goo, and even though he felt disgusted by the idea of being invaded Tommy couldn’t deny how good the liquid felt in his veins. “What… what’s happening to me?” he asked, looking at his hands as if they were those of an alien.
The young man’s whole body heaved as black goo started to pour out of his mouth, and shortly after his eyes started to well up with black goo… in fact his whole body was changing! Tommy tried to scream, but it was useless as his mouth was clogged up by the rubber, and the demon only watched in amusement as the young man changed.
Tommy felt his whole body falling apart into goo, his hands, eyes, and even hair was changing into the black goo. He tried to retain his shape as he grabbed onto a nearby railing and attempted to pull himself over, but it was a failed attempt as his whole body gave out and a wave of black goo exploded out of his body and splashed through the bars. At first the goo just stayed still, Tommy’s articles of clothing lying on the metal bars, but after a moment the goo pulled itself together and formed up into what Tommy thought would be his original shape, but instead as he blinked and looked into one of the nearby rubber vats he had instead formed into a rubber cat creature.
“What?!” he screamed, panic filling his oddly squeaky voice. Every movement he made squeaked as the rubber squeaked on the metal floor. Tommy looked himself over, and as he tried to pull the rubber away from his body it just kept replacing itself. From the corner of his eye he saw something waving, and paying it attention he realized that it was actually a tail. “I… I… I have a tail…” he grunted, shock made the realization almost funny as he reached out to grab the tail. Touching the new appendage was weird as Tommy realized that he could really feel the new appendage, and that it was really his. “Why is this happening to me?” he asked, his ears twitched as he heard movement.
The demon was approaching, and Tommy fell back in fear as he realized that it was the reason he had become this odd cat creature. “Leave me along, haven’t you done enough to me?!” Tommy screamed, as he stumbled back his paw… hand bumped against something. Looking back he realized that it was the statue from earlier, but rather than the black color it had been before it was now a startling white. “How did this get here?” he asked himself, but he realized that it was the thing that had been trapping the demon creature.
“Stay away, I have protection!” Tommy screamed, holding the statue before him looking confident that the demon couldn’t touch him. The demon looked at the statue for a moment before smiling and taking the statue out of Tommy’s hands, and crushed it. “No!” Tommy shouted, he shivered as more tentacles slipped out of the demon and wrapped around his neck. Closing his eyes, Tommy was sure he was going to be strangled to death… but as he was lifted into the air and he felt something wet slip against his cheek he reached up to feel the new collar around his neck. “W… what?” he asked, and as he looked at the demon he realized that it had licked him.
“You freed me…” the demon spoke for the first time, Tommy was shocked at how light the voice sounded.
“I… did?” Tommy asked, he felt nervous being held by the demon. The collar around his neck felt constraining, and all he wanted to do right now was get away from the creature.
“Yes, I was imprisoned long ago by wizards who feared my power to change humans into greater creatures. It has been many long centuries since I have moved, and while I’ve awakened in this new odd malleable form, I thank you for freeing me from that statue.” Even though Tommy had attempted to use the statue against him, the demon appeared nonplused.
“So… will you change me back?” Tommy asked hopefully.
“No, but I will give you the gift of being my loyal servant, and pet.” Before Tommy could retaliate though the demon leaned in and kissed him. Tommy was shocked for a moment, but as the rubbery saliva mixed in his mouth he felt all thoughts vanish in a moment as Cat looked at Master with love.
“Master!” Cat cheered, hugging the demon. After all, Cat was Master’s loyal pet, and he must do all he can to serve the demon.

Bruce winced as the smell of burnt rubber hit his nose, the month prior after a tour group left the rubber factory the place had shut down after a massive fire burnt everything. People were told not to go in due to poisonous fumes, but Bruce was too naïve for his own good as he crawled through the burnt rubble. As he walked towards the rubber vats, he smiled as he looked at the multiple colors of rubber. “I can use this place as a hideout…” he muttered, looking around he jumped in shock as he heard something moving. “Hello?” he acalled out.
Nothing responded to Bruce though, and so he relaxed as thought about how he might make it more personalized. He wasn’t expecting several black tentacles to suddenly wrap around his waist though, he couldn’t see what was happening as slime poured into his mouth. Bruce gagged on the black rubber as he fell back to see a black cat with huge eyes that seemed lifeless. “Hmph?!” he gurgled in shock, the creature smiled at him.
From behind the cat, Bruce could see a giant blue creature rise up and he started to freak out but he couldn’t say anything as his body twisted painfully as it started to change into a light blue creature. “How goes the transformation, Cat?” the demon asked his slave.
Cat purred in delight as he fed his rubber into the new convert. “It goes well Master, but I can’t do it as well as you. Meow…” he mumbled, half ashamed that he wasn’t as talented as his master.
“Don’t worry, one day you will be as near as good as me,” Master chuckled, looking at the human he could see the fear in his changing eyes. “Don’t worry small one, once you finish changing you will know nothing but the greatest joy of being one of my servants…” Bruce felt one more human tear pour out of his eye as the blue rubber became his face, and Dog would soon be created by Master.
