I actually have been holding onto the valsalia.com webspace for about seven years, juuust in case I ever decided to do something with it. Once the main plot point hits (which should be around comics #13-15), then I'll consider Val Salia/The Out-Of-Placers "ready" and get started on advertising it, and making a nice comfy website to properly host it. I've been thinking about groupsites too, however! Right now, I'm just seeing if people are at all interested.

So naturally I'm feeling pretty happy right now. :)

Hey, thanks! Yep, she technically has five eyes; three types that perceive different parts of the light spectrum. And yeah, I was tempted to go with the traditional "extra set of smaller arms under the upper ones" style that a lot of insect types have, but among other reasons, it would be more fun this way. :D

Especially when it comes to playing with Elim's hair! XD

Her mouth parted open. Now, that is more like an insect. It also makes for a terrifying look.

I assume she got her name because, when she was guiding humans through the mountains, there was one she just wouldn't leave alone throughout the entire trip. She kept pestering him and asking questions about human society until eventually he got annoyed, so he kept calling her a noisy skank, hoping she would take a hint. Though, I doubt she did considering the fact that she is in love with the name and doesn't understand sarcasm.
