Isher doesn't want anyone to know! She called herself a "mountain elf" for a while when she was younger, until it was obvious that nobody was buying it.

...I should probably mention there are no elves in this setting.

I figured. I read all the way to the current comic page and no evles yet. Silly Isher

Considering the lack of any other elves in this setting, it probably would have been more believable if she'd just cut off the "mountain" adjective and didn't imply there's at least one separate species(not counting her own) like her that have somehow never been met before.

Isher has already won me over. There is something so sweet about a gentle giant. It's probably the fact that they subvert people's expectations of them and chose a lifestyle not at all like the tough guy (or in this case, girl) role that they would be perfect for.

I don't believe I've commented on your humor yet, or any of the jokes you've put in your comics for that matter. I have to say, that last joke was good. You didn't even really need the last panel because you know whenever a guy says that, you pretty much know it's not true.
