Yeah I figured since the soccer world cup is taking place currently in Germany and I am hardly missing any game, it was about time I drew a soccer themed pic... and what would be better than a lion since a lion is the official mascot of the World Cup 2006. This is Goaleo, the sexy and not as stupid looking cousin of the official mascot Goleo.
Drew him without a shirt, because in my opinion that's the only thing that would improve soccer even more. ;) Yay for more naked-upperbody sports!

Looks good... This lion looks much better than GoLEO.
I only ask myself how come that so many people here can speak german and even more use german in their art... At least I think there are not sooooooo many who really live in Germany. If you for example would live in Germany you just could not say that you missed to watch a game... YOU JUST CANNOT AVOID THE WORLD CUP!!! AAAAAAAARGH!

I think that so many artists use German in their art, because it simply is fashinable to use different languages... same reason many people use French or Japanes.
Oh and it's true what you say. YOU CANNOT AVOID THE WORLD CUP!! Not that I'm trying. ;) I love the sport, so I'm even happier the world cup takes place in my homecountry.
