WAS THIS DOLL A PROTOTYPE?
This doll was not a prototype. This is a professional piece of art
COMMUNICATION
Since this was a commissioned work, this artist was very prompt with responding to any inquiries regarding this commission.
DID THEY MEET YOUR DEADLINE?
There was no deadline but work was completed pretty shortly after the payment plan was completed. a few months.
HOW WAS THE ART DOLL PACKAGED?
This doll was packaged professionally by UPS
DID YOUR DOLL ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE?
doll technically arrived with a popped limb at the elbow BUT was easy to fix and hide due to the dolls leather arm bands likely designed to hide seams anyway. This incident wont affect my scoring.
WAS YOUR DOLL SEWN?
this doll is made of wood and is assembled with a series of wood glues and pin nails. even the rabbit fur is added with an adhesive.
IS YOUR DOLL FLOPPY STYLE OR ARTICULATED?
as this was a doll style inspired by traditional Kachina dolls, this was not a floppy or articulated art doll. It is ridged like a sculpture.
STABILITY, IS YOUR DOLL STABLE?
With the help of its base (its attached to the base) this doll stands like a champ!
DOLL DETAIL
With what little wood is exposed, it is airbrushed cleanly and simplified.
FABRIC DETAILING
All the furry parts are made of rabbit and you can not find seams. This is well done.
MATERIALS
The dolls clothing is made with a soft leather and his jewelry matches his color combination and theme. He is a sun bear
WOULD YOU BUY FROM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND?
I would buy from again and recommend to anybody that is looking for something unique or if they love Native American inspired artwork to go to Bobby for their needs
