A collaborative effort between myself and Greg Bear. We both took turns writing the verses, sending the story back and forth through the mail (yeah, this was before email, youngsters) until it was complete. Credits appear on the final page, but I would like to mention up front that these are Greg's inks & finishes over my pencils. Greg did some great ad-lib artwork as well, like the possums in the first panel.
