Pet portrait commissioned by my grandpa, as a memorial illustration for a friends dog. This is Marley, who passed away recently. I never got to meet the pup, but it's my pleasure to create this painting for Marley's humans in memoriam.

Done in Photoshop CS6 with an Intuos 3 tablet.

This is so amazing. It is really a wonderful capture of a pets spirit. He looks like he's about to get up and blitz around the yard! Reminds me of my Bichon, Karma. Drawing all white dogs is quite a challenge!
