The British Army pathfinder usit is the *only* unit to use the american m16 assault rifle as opposed to the sa80a2. Mainly due to reliability issues.
That said this is an m4a1, i put this on there as this is pretty much what my airsoft loadout is. Minus the fur.

Sorry you’re not exactly right there, they use the Canadian built Deimaco which is based on the M16, but is not the weapon that the general US forces use. Also there is no British path finders unit, they are known as the SAS, or SBS. As for the A2 if they had a UK uniform on then they would be using the A2 rifle.
The ministry of defence would disagree.

tho i will succumb and agree to the rifle statement.
The information id researched that came from "ultimate special forces" and several mod photos which named it an m16. Tho upon further inspection theres now a page on the mod's site that does indeed state its the canadian model.

As Murries pointed out, the Pathfinders *are* a british unit, part of the Parachute Regiment, one of the more "Elite" army corps. The SAS and SBS do a very, very different job to this unit, and use neither the M16 (or variants) or the SA-80 ( the L85-A1/A2 Rifle, to give it its correct name), but weapons more suited to their operations, which vary widely, but more often than not tend to be H&K variants.
I've done my research, as I served my time to do so :P
