I love those scales, too! So much attention to detail in this image, each one as shiny as the last, and that tiny, probably for a purpose, mouth of his looks cute! XD

Holy God, that is a cute summbitch! :D Hah. The scalework is beautiful, even the hints at them near the eyes to the full on rough scales on the back of the head, that's way good. Very, very sexy looking. :D Beautiful eyes, boy I love those eyes. I could just stare at them for hours.
OOoh nice!!! He has such an innocent "who me?" look about him. His scales and his claws are amazingly well done! Hey, everything about this li'l dragon is amazing!!!! ^_^

Indeed he is, though I preferred how he looked at first, rather than the more angular and anime-looking dragon that he looks like on the more recent game covers.
I could definitely see Spyro making use of his flexible spine and long tongue on himself, or maybe humping his own tail and making a big sticky mess. I even wrote a quick little story about him some time ago and posted it on FA.
