Something I made in an attempt to use GIMP. After thinking about it for a while, I decided I actually quite like what I have here.


Might even implement this as my character's new design. The idea is that his fur is white, but his flesh is unnaturally pitch-black. I like drawing inspiration from actual animal anatomy, so his belly is only sparsely furred, and his hands aren't really furred at all. I think I rather like the long sinewy neck.
The appearance of standing in liquid was purely accidental, but it worked out pretty good. The background was off-yellow and purple stripes that got thoroughly stirred until it looked cool.
The meme captions were just for teh funny, based on the expression that it ended up looking like.

Anyway, still learning how to draw effectively with digital mediums, so if ya have any advice on how to do digital art more elegently, feel free to advise.
Also, anyone know what category this belongs to? Cell-shading?
