Much like the blaziken, Luca's body started to swell larger in size. His spikes weren't entirely like a normal one of his kind, seeing that they were his method of growing. He also had to file them down so if he wanted to have himself grow again. They'd still be capable of puncturing if he swung them fast enough, but blunt enough to where simple contact won't result in a minor bleeding prick. The lucario continued to have himself grow larger with each puff he blew into the spikes, glancing up at the blaziken, whom was watching him grow.
Deciding to speed it up since it was going slow for his tastes, Luca stuck the other spike into his mouth, blowing into it and effectively doubling his growth rate, already reaching three times his normal size. He was still up to the growth contest Huo issued, continuing to have himself puff up larger and larger in size, seeing the blaziken grin at his growing friend and rival.
