Kassen was the son of a lower-middle class merchant house in Dinnlan before the draft. His basic education didn't help him much when it came to swinging a ball & chain around at Beletan legionaries, though.

Also, Yinglets have a hard time pronouncing human "-th" sounds because of how far forward their front teeth are placed.

Yep, lead adds a sweet flavor to what your drinking, and was highly addictive, so addictive in fact, it was ultimately the cause of Romes downfall.

Indeed! They even made a specific thing called Defruitum inside of lead lined pots to add to stuff.

If I lived in this world I think I would prefer the clay dinnerware. Copper can't stand up to prolonged moisture very well before getting it's green "rust" if you can call it that... and let's not even talk about the Poison Lead.
