Aww, ain't these wee little house finches so darn cute as they are waiting for their mom and pop to return?? :aww: :aww: :aww:

The Ducky didn't even notice that the nest was up there over the door frame of me historic 1882 house, until I got the ladder out to paint the woodwork surrounding the doors and transom. There these wee house finches were, just on the shelf above the doors and at the transom (the window above the door). They usually come back every year to nest under the front porch roof.

Needless to say, the Ducky can't paint the wood until the house finches vacate the nest :D But I had plenty else to paint this Memorial Day Weekend!!
