And here we have a Tee being completely oblivious to a joke.
I was walking into school a couple of weeks ago and the dean behind the front desk said this to me. I stopped dead in my tracks and probably looked like a deer in headlights that you just insulted. Fortunately, probably feeling bad for me, the dean pointed out that I'm wearing a jacket with bones on it.
My dean is a very serious woman, and my sister has always made fun of me for being thin(to the point of ruining my self esteem), so this joke left me very confused, and very, very embarrassed. :'3

I understood that feeling - Principal of my High School told me the same thing, only one line; "You look thin!" with a happy expression - however, I understood that reference because I wore gothic dress back then.
But no disrespect here, many people are like that, oblivious to the jokes and reference. Me included! As I didn't quite get what one poster's comment meant for "Red Ring of Death" on Sonic's boss in Sonic Color, then I had to watch the video in order to understand what it meaning for.

D'aww. xD
To be fair, I think it's pretty easy to misunderstand jokes aimed at your clothing >->
This one time, I was wearing a "U Mad, Bro?" T-shirt, and I was just kinda walking along lost in thought when somebody else calls to me "You mad, bro!?"
And then I glanced up confused for a few seconds, having forgotten that I was wearing that shirt. So awkward. :'3

I was going through the airport last year, and I was wearing a T-shirt that read "If found, please return to the pub." As I was finishing-up going through security, one of the TSA agents stopped me and said, "I'm sorry, sir, we're going to have to take you back to the pub." It caught me off guard, and I was like, "Huh?"
