I is an amazing white mage =D

Hmm, I've heard good things about FF14, but I'm still wondering if its something I'd actually wanna spend a lot of time on.

I was really hesitant personally because I haven't played an MMO since Guild Wars 2 and I'm not a huge Final Fantasy fan to begin with, but I was pleasantly surprised honestly! It's the sort of game that is absolutely full of little things, a weather cycle, your hair/clothes move in the wind/you have so many emotes etc., plus the character customization is pleasantly in depth. The combat is also solid and actually pretty fun, but if you're after immersion it has a ton of that too. I also really like the way they handle gathering/crafting professions as their own classes, too - being able to level up a miner or a botanist with their own weapons and gear is really cool.

The only issue I had was when I purchased it on sale for the PS3 nowhere did it say it had a subscription fee...it doesn't say anything about it on the amazon page either, so it gives you 30 days free and then closes all of a sudden. If you get into it knowing about that though, it really is a great game.
