They can have any colors, except for red, as the Empire hates red. And Spybots are Imperial technology, but the rebels have been known to abduct them and reprogram them to spy on the Empire for them. The Rebels, despite liking the color red, do not recolor them red as this would give them away.

Spybots do exactly as their name implies-spy. But they also can hack computers, phones, tablets, and any other kind of electronic device to steal data and send back to the computer they are linked to. Destroying them after they have obtained data will not save the data, as they send the data to the computer as they are stealing it. Only way to prevent data from being stolen is to stop them from hacking.

They also have a cloaking device that allows them to go invisible, this makes them very dangerous as they are capable of incapacitating humans with a stun gun located in their hands. They cannot stay cloaked and hack at the same time.

When flying, their legs recoil back into their body (as shown in the picture), their arms can stay out but usually they recoil them too unless they need their hands.

They also have tentacle type things that are located inside their bodies, the holes that open up and let them out are located behind the shoulders. These can either be used to defend themselves or extend into areas they cannot fit into, as they have cameras at the ends of them.

They are also quite fast on their feet and in the air, making it difficult to attack them. A simple EMP blast will stun them. They recover faster than androids because of their small size.

All Spybots were programmed with female voices, unlike the androids that have male voices (save for Kallisto who has a female voice).
