is there a way to load pictures that allows their expansion? or do I expand the original...then reload it in its larger form...and then FA would automatically make it expandable? cuz others have asked the same

It depends on the original size of the picture, if you expand a small picture it will just go pixelated and rubbish.

Expanding it first would be best, did he not send you a larger version?

I may have jpg'd it by instinct instead of downloading it...I just checked...and the original has been pulled...I guess I can tinker with the small copy I have and try to properly expand it. I've got a cpl photo/art adjusting programs..I just dont use them skillfully

Did he email it to you? If so it might still be in your emails somewhere. Or you could try contacting him, he might still have a copy somewhere.

nah...I scanned it...and worse...I can't even find the original...which may have been brutally slaim by accident during one of the post virus purges of newer files this year...still...I can tinker with the small copy here after saving it...and maybe make a larger one with the same clarity
