This was published as an illustration for my article in this week's issue of Flugplatz. The topic was "Books vs. gaming". You can read my (german) article here: http://www.tagblatt.de/Home/nachrichten/jugend_artikel,-Wieso-sind-Buecher-Kulturgueter-und-Videospiele-nicht-_arid,160999.html
Here we have the main characters from some of my favourite games that I consider to be art: Amaterasu from Okami, Neku from The World Ends With You, Rayman from Rayman (duh.) and Razputin from Psychonauts. I tried to draw and colour each of them in their own special style. And I'm especially proud of how Rayman came out because it's the first time that I drew him in the Rayman Origins style.
Oh, and the whole picture was drawn very spontanous in only half a day. ^^
Amaterasu (Okami) © Capcom,
Neku (The World Ends With You) © Square Enix,
Rayman © UbiSoft,
Razputin (Psychonauts) © Double Fine.
Damn, this site really hates transparency.
