Sitting in his cockpit, he was as real and living as the hum of the city around us. The light shone so beautifully on his light brown fur too. Our conversation was so aimless and passing that I don't even remember what it was about! He was my best pal in my early years at the academy. Together we took our first navigation lessons... and look at us there.. we signed up for a summer of fun escorting valuable cargo and passengers on their approach to the city (not the career port-gaurdian work that Kijo does). I'm glad that the day was beautiful enough to always remember on its own because that was the last time I would ever see him.

Aww... Such a sad story to go with such a happy drawing! I can't wait to see the finished version of this.
Are you working on a graphic novel or something? This is great material! I love how you draw technology.... I need to start learning that stuff xD My own graphic novel will be science fiction.

...I totally love how low the window goes on that vehicle... I don't know why, the shape is just really pleasing...
The story does leave a lot to be imagined, like what relationship they really had and what was behind it, what moments where shared previous, and most of all, why they would not often see each other in the future.
I hope one of them just moved x.x
