yeah she has 174,000 miles on her. but she still gets me from point a to point b. but aside from her AC and fan not working properly she runs fine. but i think an over haul or a rebuild on her engine would do her good.

Could always drop a V6 in it... or if you're really tool savvy, you could get a big block chevy, an LT1 or even a Northstar V8 and put one of those in it. Then you can burn the tires off without moving :D

i really do, but as much as i want to, i saw a L98 (or 96 i get numbers mixed up) Corvette V8 put in an 84 Fiero. but im thinking for value purposes, to keep everything as original as possible in case i ever have to sell her. i only paid 1,500 for her, but ive already had offers of 3,000 -5,000 from people seeing her on the street. but i plan on refurbishing the interior, and re building the engine and such to see if i can get more out of her. i saw an 88 in slightly better condition than my 86 sell for 12,000$

oh man, if you're getting offers like that, I'd definitely take someone up on it. Even an 86 shouldn't go for more than $2k, especially with the 4cyl and that high of miles. Then you can buy another one with the extra cash and do it all over again! :D

maybe.... there is an 84 automatic at a near by museum selling for 5,000$..... but i hate automatics x.x

well, the thing about the 84 is that if you need parts, most of the mechanical parts can only come from another 84. At least after 85 and on, they started the same parts in all years. in 85, they changed so much that it was practically not the same car. Not to say they're bad, just a bit harder to find parts for.

yeah. but that museum 84 only has 60,000 miles on it.... but i think ill hold on to mine as much as i can. she was also the first car i bought on my own and she is the car where i learned to work on engines and such too. so this car is also sentimental to me too.

Fiero is one of my favourite Pontiacs, I'm so sad that this brand does not exist anymore... ;-(
