Bo's a ghost from the late 50s/early 60s who, after having a cold case about his murder solved by a detective lady who can see ghosts, helps her to solve other mysteries by strongarmin other ghosts who misbehave.
He's also found a lot of solace in the afterlife to deal with something he couldn't in life- his sexuality. It distracts him a lot during cases though
