6 hour painting commission for
fringe in which I was given artistic freedom with his felitaur Driftstalker, and I know he enjoys motorcycles, so here's a motaurcycle. :D

Very cool, and I know it's nitpicky, but that helmet is utterly useless. In a fall, those ears would get sheared or ground off as he skid along the pavement, not to mention the potential for penetration on the earholes by a collision, and his lower body has no protective clothing whatsoever.
Cool(awesome) pic no matter what the "reality" would be. :)

I'd just like to correct you there.
I have had a helmet save my life.
It did exactly what it was designed to do and absorbed the impact of my head and I am still here.
Also, yes I was wearing full protective gear at the time and that did its job too.
I walked away from a bad motorcycle accident with only a dislocated shoulder and a few bruises (including the big one to my pride).

There is nothing to correct.
It is intended to be a very vague, but powerful statement.
No matter the protection you have, a helmet or protective gear can and will fail depending on the amount of force applied to you.
And even if the gear doesn't break, your body will under certain circumstances. There is no denying that.
(Especially to a hospital superintendent)
Every time you ride a bike, you risk your life. No matter the amount of training or experience you have had.

I'll respect this artist's piece by not continuing this discussion on here although I think a middle ground between our two viewpoints is probably the correct one.
We an continue by PM if you wish.
Also on a different note, I have great respect and admiration for anyone in the medical professions.
