What a wonderful surprise I received this morning when I looked at my e-mail! My birthday is coming up in a few days and CD bought me this commission as a birthday gift! WOW! I love the way Sailor Anna drew her! Yes, this is Mystic Cat, registered superhero and Crimson Cur's immediate supervisor (and a major pain in the tail!). I'm reposting her stats below. I hope all of you enjoy this fantastic picture as much as I do! Look for her in more of my stories in the future!
Her stats:
Name: Patricia Sue Arnoe, Ph.D. (a.k.a. Mystic Cat)
Age: 26
Species: Feline/Raccoon Mix
Height: 5' 7'
Weight: 120 lbs.
Current occupation: Assistant Director, Western (USA) Operations, American Bureau of Superhero Relations.
Description: Basically, she is a light brown furred cat with a white muzzle and a long brown and black striped tail. Her superfur costume consists of a traditional female magician's black and white costume including leotard and top hat.
Powers: Mystic Cat has advanced powers of the mind. She can move/lift objects with her mind (including her own body) as well as create convincing illusions. She can read most minds and form black round 'shadowballs' which cause pain and bodily harm when they strike other fursons. She can also create mental force fields
Weakness: Using her powers requires mental concentration which, if broken, renders her abilities useless. She also tends to be a bit conceited and thus often displays overconfidence and arrogance.
History: Patricia was born of a Calico Cat attorney mother and a raccoon college professor father. Patricia was an only child, spoiled in her childhood by her upper class parents. When their daughter started displaying advanced mental abilities, her parents sent her to a special school for child geniuses called Freeman Academy in Denver, Colorado. Although the academy taught her how to harness and use her special mental powers, living a boarding school life from her pre-teen days till adulthood took it's toll on the impressionible feline hybrid. Upon graduation from Freeman, the newly formed American Bureau of Superhero Relations recruited her, sending her to college at Stanford where she proved so brilliant, she graduated first with a Bachelor's Degree and then a Master's Degree in the span of three
years. Her Doctorate Discertation was SO impressive that she was offered several teaching positions all over the world, but turned them all down to stay with the agency. Before long, Patricia climbed the career ladder and was named Assistant Director of the Western region in September of 2006. As Mystic Cat, she earned high praise for the many criminal cases she helped solve as well as defeating supervillians all over the world, primarily in Europe and North Africa. She is one bureaucrat who doesn't believe in sitting behind a desk in some secluded office, preferring to be an active operative.
Personality: Patricia often comes across and a cold, uncaring furson who cares more about her own career and the Agency than anything (or anyone) else. Few males she has ever dated returned for a second date (dynamite body, egotistical personality). Although she is at home in academic or bureaucratic settings, Patricia lacks basic social skills. She rarely discusses her personal life with anyone and has had many one-night stands with males. Patricia, even as Mystic Cat, sometimes uses her feminine charm to her advantage, on villians as well as her co-workers.

This was a great gift from CD to you via

She did well.
I will need to get her drawn up more as well.

But she has to "concentrate" to do that. Just distract her with some idle chatter, ask her how her day at work was, anything, keeping her off balance.
As for the personality... you're on your own.
Say, what's so special about Dyno-Donkey? I never realized a bureacrat could have superpowers.

Well, Dyno-Donkey/Dunston Howe joined the Bureau soon after it formed in 2000. He is super strong, can fly and can use his famous "Donkey Call" both as a low-powered sonic weapon and as a signal. He's been around the "superhero" scene for a while but chose to become registered. He's probably more brilliant as a bureaucrat than as a superhero, and he doesn't mind working "in the field" when he's needed too.
Ok. There was a very long RP in the old Yahoo group concerning the Major Panzer incident. All of the events in that RP were never written out into a story form, but they became 'canon' for the Colmaton Universe. And as part of it, Mystic Cat met Toxic, whom she had inadvertently helped escape a Bureau holding cell. If the RP had gone on to a conclusion, she and Toxic would've fell in love and she'd hide him out at her house. Their love was so strong, it turns Toxic from villain to superhero and Mystic Cat from a flirty stubborn 'pain in the neck' to a respectable, responsible furson. If you read the Operation Chaos saga, some of this backstory came out in that series.
