Okay, encouraged by
lioncourt I have put together a collection of some of my voices. Not all of them, really, just ones that I can recall quickly.
Those of you who went to Morphicon will recognize these voices.
Those of you going to MFF, I hope to be holding a panel on doing character voices.

*bearhug* Great job buddy! I'm glad you decided to upload this, it was a real pleasure to listen to.
You had a really nice variety of characters there, I thought your Goofy, Mickey and um....villain guy from Danger Mouse ^^ were really well observed. Plus your sound, excusing a few breath puffs, was really clear!
I hope you continue with these in the future, I'd love to hear more. Excellent work man.

*nod* Yep, that's pretty much the idea, you want a competitive reel that really highlights the unique selling points of your voice. It needs to be punchy, concise and flow together nicely which still giving you a good showcase for your 'characters'. To break into the professional arena, you'll need really good commercial reel too, suitable for promos and such, as that is what the majority of work in the voice-over arena involves.
Crafting the right set of demos takes time, keep at it, work on developing your voice as much as you can, and get experience wherever possible. Look into joining some voice acting communities online such as the Voice Acting Alliance or the VAC and audition for projects there. Another good start would be to head over to http://www.voicebank.net, click on house reels and have a listen to some of the stuff there to give you some idea of what makes an effective demo reel.
Once you have a set of competitive demos, mail it out to everyone, local radio stations, advertising companies, talent agents, get your name around. The process is hard work and will take time, but you can use that time to hone your skill further and make a killer showcase for yourself. All the best buddy!
