Always hand sewn with a tight blanket stitch:) then glued on. Everything on this head will be sewn. Glued edges always. Seem to fail after the heads been squished, or worn a lot. Its so much easier and cleaner and more durable (though time consuming!) than glued edges. I did that on my first couple heads, and they would just come apart after a few outings:(
Oh, I've tried! I will randomly miss edges and whatnot and end up having to go over them. I like to make sure everything lines up perfectly edge to edge without a seam allowance (on the head, not bodysuit!) I feel way more in control of the outcome when I stitch by hand:)
