Rats were one of the best companions I ever had the opportunity to spend time with, although short lived, many were intelligent and worthy beings to me. I have much respect for their species. A lot of people sadly dont realize just how many emotions they feel like us. My sympathies to your loss and their cage mate as well. When my Zephyr died i felt she went so somewhere better, and was watching over me from somewhere. I believe the thoughts of feelings and loss were felt. They will know how much you cared for them

Ahw man, my condolences to you. I know how it feels, been there and done that myself. Beautiful artwork, and I admit I got a little teary because I did the same thing when my girls passed (if you're interested: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11047877/ - can't really look at it myself cuz I start crying too, but it's something to remember them by). I wish you and Miss Fancy a good life together, that's the best you can hope for sometimes. Just remembering that you're doing the best you can for them while they're here.
