O_O *paws at the glow*

My new computer will arrive sometime early May, and it has glowies!

Nice build.

I'll admit I still get the ones with a few extra slots - just in case the on-board just isn't enough (or there's this toy I just gotta have! )

I've decided that there's no point for me to buy a board with extra PCI/PCI-Express slots that I'll never use, so I'll just get Micro ATX or MiniITX from now on. I don't even do SLI, so that's one other reason to buy a board with just one PCI-Express slot.

Well, my 'main' system has o be able to adapt to whatever I think I need it to do. Like moving a lot of old 'can't get any more' vinyl to wav/mp3s formats, the on-board line in introduced a lot of noise, so I added a sound card. After that, I've always tried to have a little extra room for a new toy. I had a couple of those little shuttle boxes when 1ghz CPUs were considered 'fast', but hated the limitations they forced on me. Each to their own as they say

Well, of course all motherboards these days come with onboard 5.1 or 7.1 sound, so no sound card is necessary. Although the Asus Maximus VI Impact's sound is placed on a daughter card due to it being a MiniITX motherboard.

Which was my point, the onboard wasn't up to the task ...

THIS is what I wanna do to my $5 PC!

Hmmm I need to find a new computer so I can do video editing with out waiting for the computer for hours. only thing is I need one about the size of a loaf of bread.
