You do very well with anatomy, looks better than the extreme muscle mass some would put on a character like this. I also think it's a rather cute and neat idea to have characters interact through your galleries.

Yay, more Rusty! I love the abundance of athletic tape (or bandages), always a fun accessory. I'm trying to pin down his nationality, and given that he's chilling with some bananas, I've narrowed it down to: Indian, African, Filipino, Brazilian or Indonesian. Judging by his hair and his necklace (which could both be misleading) I'm ruling out African, Indian and Brazilian. He's also a monkey, however, and his coloring makes me think he might not be from the Philippines, as all they have are tarsiers and macaques. Even though I wouldn't associate a magatama with Indonesia, it's also the only banana producing country with primates of any significant size, and I don't think it's at all unlikely that an Indonesian would take a shining to the Japanese magatama.

I actually don't know. I made it vague and ambiguous as possible. I like to think he is mixed race.
As far as species go, I didn't consider an exact species. I drew him as one of those brown cartoon monkeys, which I'm not sure what species those are based on.
He use to be a Brazilian tiger called Rio before I redesigned him, If that helps at all. Then again, The world he is from isn't exactly earth.

I figured it was a 50/50 chance that he was either based off something real or just an imaginary guy, but it seemed like fun to try and imagine what he would be based off in real life. I like him either way, really. And now that I'm seeing him in your earlier pictures, I love his outfits! Have you posted pictures of Rio anywhere?

I did once when I had a tumblr years ago, but i deleted it all. I'm thinking of doing up scrap pics of their previous designs before i decided on the ones I liked. But that won't be for a while, probably.
