I wanted to do a game box art for SFSB.
Unfortunately no, there won't be any hard copies like this available. The game will only be available as a download. But it will be available for Mac, windows(all versions), and Linux.

I think the reason why Morenatsu wasn't as successful as it should have been was because of the mature rating and sensitive content. Especially when the game would not have lost it's magic or emotional gravity if the mature content had not been there in the first place. I'm not saying the mature content hurt the game. I'm just saying the game would not have been affected either way.
I respect your opinion, but just so as to offer an opposing viewpoint, I would never have played through Morenatsu if not for the sex scenes that felt like a big payoff at the end of the courtship. Call it shallow if you want, but I think its fairly normal to want to have sex with someone you're in love with. Isn't that kind of the capstone of a romance?
I thought the sex enhanced the emotion and excitement, just as sex does IRL.

Sex shouldn't be a capstone or a payoff to a romance. A relationship should be sought after for the sake of companionship. Dating someone with the goal being sex is not a relationship. That's scheming your way into some one's pants.
Sex enhances a relationship but it shouldn't be the reason you continue or pursue it.
With Morenatsu, including a intimacy/sex scene by the end of the game would have worked if done right, but it wasn't done right, in my opinion. The scenes were raunchy and perverse like a cheep hentai game(not to mention poorly drawn), and that was a little sad. I figured if the sex scene was drawn tastefully then it would have been better. like if it was from the waist up or not actually showing penetration or body fluids gushing everywhere. Draw the scene so it shows sex but not smut. That way it could have gotten a lower age rating and more people could play it. Besides, the game content didn't call for a sex scene anyway. The game depicts under aged teenagers spending time over summer break, 'raunchy' sex was actually pretty out of place.
Don't get me wrong. Sex scenes even explicit sex scenes in a properly written dating sim/visual novel does work to enhance the closeness you feel with the character but it shouldn't be the main reason you play them, just like IRL. If it is then you should stick with porn games and IRL stick with loose hookups. I do love sex but sex isn't love.

I thought the sex scenes were great, fun and appropriate for the most part, and were a highlight of the games to me. I'm not ashamed to admit that romantic stories/ games are a sexual outlet to me, as I'm not in a relationship and haven't been in a long time. I am well aware that it is not the "point" ultimately of a deep and meaningful long term relationship, but in a dating game I think it is fun and exciting, which is kinda the point of such games to me. To each their own! We all play these games for different reasons. I think it's great you have a strong conviction on what you want to do differently! I'll be following the project myself and enjoyed the demo.
Well, I finally found some time to try the demo. And I have to say that you are off to a very good start. The only thing that I was kind of sad about was after buying the comic "you" didn't give Rain the comic. Of course it's possible you'll add that scene at a later date. Anyway again very good start and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this visual novel once you finish it.
To make this cover more real-like, there should be at least one "screenshot" of the game ;)
Also even though you plan to make only a digital version you could provide people a big resolution picture so that they could print it and burn a DVD with the game itself (my brother does that with X360 games :P )

More. I finished the demo and I want more! I want to give Rain his comic and fall in love with the goober. To be fair tho, Rick was my first choice. when he gets all self conscious and puts his hands over his head... I was sold. But he's not in the demo! You need to finish this, dude! It is awesome!
