Hero? Hah. No, you got me wrong ma'am. A 'hero' is a champion of justice, a paragon dedicated to righteous and selfless living. Me? I would just the same slay a drake or rob a peddler, if it means I get to eat for one more day.

There's so much I want to say about this pic...
I made this piece as a self-reminder that I can do nice and elaborate artwork when I set my mind to it.
So for those who may have been wondering, yes, I do have a fursona/personal character. This is him.
The idea for this pic came from the fact that I've been playing too much Diablo III and Dragon's Dogma recently (I feel no shame). Initially I was just going to draw him in my regular street clothes, but I decided to kick it up a notch and portray him as a fantasy/medieval character in a tarot card of sorts.
I hate 'white knight' characters. Y'know, the holy do-gooders ones that go around imparting their higher sense of morality on everyone 'cause "it's the right thing to do"? They're boring. I'm more fond of roguish characters, the kind that will save the day sure enough, but only if he gets a big ol' reward for his trouble. So I made Scott in that fashion.
I think he came out pretty cool. Kinda makes me want to take him to a DnD game or something. I'll probably give some of my characters the same treatment sometime soon.
Anyways, that concludes Lion Month, hope you enjoyed the many big cats I got to draw. Will probably do the same next year.
