Stuff happening! Lots of STUFF!
So it seems Douglas Smith was dropped to make room for the extra player taken back in the HNT trade? Oh my, I didn't know it had gotten that complicated! Poor Doug. :(
If April 28's game against the Tides was any indication, the team is still playing Umaechi heavy minutes despite the email to the coach. Although they are only 5 games up on the 8th place Tides with 10 games to go, so a bit of a slip-up could still spell disaster for the team.

Dougie wasn't dropped; he's been moved to Injured Reserve and will hopefully return to the team next season.
Although the email may have been ignored by the coach, it's also possible that certain players may not want to get benched.
Albany's schedule in May is slightly "easier" than Bangor's and even Baltimore's, while Williamsburg has the toughest schedule ahead of them. Rather than try to scrounge for home court advantage against Tallahassee and Tennessee, Kawaru is banking on the Tides and the three Central Division teams to beat each other up while the Alphas coast into one of the bottom four playoff spots.
