wow it's so good!
usually I say hazel eyes, and I get brown or amber. this...this just blows me away.
I remember the first MFF I went to, in '08. I got a shirt literally as I was on my way out Sunday night, a light blue one, had it folded over my arm. I showed
the effect again after he commented about it, when he noticed it, I look straight at him, move the shirt from under my eyes, to my side, and back and forth. and my eyes look like they go from brown to blue. I asked this random woman who happened to be walking next to us that moment, asked her to check it out. she was creeped out, asked me how I was making my eyes change. I honestly said I just move the shirt, my eyes change. no trick, just the stuff that I was born with. she couldn't handle it
that's why half my characters got hazel eyes. and I see what some artists do, and it's 'yeah, it looks pretty good. they're eyes.' but this eye...if I've seen better, it was in a context I didn't care about. I really like what you've done here

aww i totally get it i have hazel eyes, but one muinet they look blue the next green, if i ware baby pink (which hardly ever happens) my eye look like crystal blue. and by firelight deep green.
viva la hazle eyes!
people often mistake the term hazel eyes as amber or brown. no hazle is mixed eyes of layers of colour.
thou in all honesty for my first attempt at painting an eye.. i should have gone with an easier colour 0.o
i'm super happy you like it. i am definitely pleased with this altho it was a pain in the butt.

if you can do better, I'd love to see it. understanding what they look like is a big step. check my gallery, my main characters are supposed to have hazel eyes, but they don't look like it. even stuff by supposedly good artists, if they don't get hazel eyes, they can't make 'em look right.
