Hah, you know, I used to think this was weird, until I found out its quite a common epidemic. i even have one whom i've had to pry off my tail a few times. god bless the tail lovers :)

That expression is priceless. The thing (aside from that) which really stands out to me in this image though is the wing membrane. Getting my head around how that behaves when anything other than taught so far has proved impossible - you certainly seem to have a particular skill for that though. As with most of your work, there's a tremendous feeling of depth and solidity to the image as well - that wing in the foreground in particular really does seem to pop out of the screen towards the viewer.
