Spotter activation was necessary here in SW Missouri on Sunday. There were a lot of major storms that day across the Midwest. They reeked havoc across Alabama and Mississippi on the following day, Monday. Anyway on Sunday night....
I chased a Tornado Warned cell just south of Lockwood and north of Stotts City, MO on 97. These are the few photos I got as the storm lost strength after an hour of driving. By then it was getting dark. This cell supposedly put down a possible tornado (waiting confirmation from the NWS) In Polk county about 45 min or so later. This is the 1st photo in the series I wish to upload.
