Jaqard is the former Lieutnant of Captain Fenris Murdstone, a rather grim pirate lord. Later on was his ally too when commanding his own ship. Well for a wedding party Jaqard betrayed him for a good deal of the booty of a cooperational enterprise and when Murdstone found out, had him captured and brought to the "hole" in isolation until ransom was paid, which took a year. Meanwhile his vixen wife left him with the child and his crew almost shattered.
