Images like these make it hard to imagine that they are still wild animals. But you can see an obvious trust and bond between the two of you ^.^

At Wolf Park, the residents are highly socialized, but they still are wild. Grey foxes have a major fault that they are VERY inquisitive. They will check out anything that is different from the normal environment. At Wolf Park, they love the attention, and the grey foxes there are only about a year old, so they haven't gotten jaded yet ("Where's the food???").

And I do believe the spirit of my dog who died in the 80's still roams the planet telling every other canid alive that I'm totally whipped around canids and just what to do to get attention.

Try having a malamute that liked to be handled this same way as these foxes... Oh some mals are very cat like too.
