Yeah, I tend to just post the sketches along with the finished pieces because it's easier that way ^_^

The USB wireless internet dongle thingy that I was using to connect the PC I paint on to the internet died, so now uploading involves this elaborate dance of throwing files from my desktop onto my PSP, then shuffling them off again onto my laptop. At that point, I'm too lazy not to just wait and do them all at once, haha ^_^

And anybody who knows me at all would be able to tell you that me and horror flicks don't mix, haha. One time I was watching one of them play Half-Life 2, and this noise comes from behind Freeman, so he turns around right as one of the freaking fast zombies (not cool) JUMPS right at his face. I jumped, and about half of the contents of the glass of seltzer I was holding flew onto the couch. They still tease me about having left a wet spot...

Thanks, dude ^_^ The big hands were actually intentional -- I was trying to force a bit of perspective, and the hands were close to the "camera," so they got enlarged a bit. Whether I managed to carry that perspective through any of the rest of the figure...who knows 9_9

And yeah, the original palette I had picked out for this one was white, grey, electric magenta. Then I was like "hell no," so I built it up blue with green shadows. Then (as usual), at the very end, my lighting and color effects pass turned it back to electric magenta. At least with this one, the color/lighting shifts from magenta at the top down to a cyan in the lower area, so the figure isn't totally blown out by the bombastic color...

I have to say, it definitely went for pretty cool in the sketch to very cool once complete. I must learn to do fur textures like that!

I'm trying to learn to balance the texture with still showing the form underneath. On the one hand, it's fun (and convenient!) to be able to just be like uhhhh FLUFFY! and BS a lot of the anatomy, but then you wind up with a shapeless figure, which is kind of a shame. So yeah, I'm working on it ^_^

Heh, definitely better than what I could do! Besides, it looks pretty good so far anyway.

I think I'm slowly but surely honing in on the look I want, anyway ^_^

It's kind of a piece of Victoriana, so it was high collars and prim neckties and the like.

And I draw the line at never doing emo stuff that's a representation of my own life. It's fun to illustrate all sorts of different emotions. But yeah, the minute you see me post "I'm so emo" art, you are welcome, nay encouraged to smack me around.

But yeah, up until the final innings, this one was blue with green shadows! It put up the good fight.

the green notes in the shadows really make the deceptively simple palette pop somethin fierce.

the man-boobs are super-cute but his nippies seem real close together. i tried to scrunch up my chest like that and it wasn't havin it... then again i'd hardly describe my figure as manboobular.

実はwikipediaでこの写真見たら「デブい!」 「可愛い!!」って二発連続の印象を受けて、この絵を描くことに至った（似てないけど。）

種別は「アイスランディック・シープドッグ」っていうらしい。
その子のどこまでがふかふかなのか、どこまでが単にデブいのか見当が付きませんけど、とにかく抱きつきたい度高いです。

因みに英語で「ハスキー」って言葉は犬の種別であって、「デブい」っていう意味の形容詞でもあります!　（関係ないけど）

And I wish my process were more dynamic to watch ^_^ I know some folks who keep things really interesting the whole way through a drawing -- I think mine might be interesting to watch the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes. The however many hours in between would probably bore you to tears <3

Haha, although I guess the joy of watching folks paint on youtube is that everything is sped up to 20x actual speed ^_^
