6989-1 Mega Core Magnetizer
This is the 6989-1 Mega Core Magnetizer of the Lego's successful Space series. It was the largest set in the M-Tron sub-theme, and incorporated several revolutionary magnet pieces, that made the M-Tron theme famous.
For me, this was a b**** to build. The color saturation, coupled with the fact that I had to create over 20 separate sub-models for this particular project, was enough to drive me crazy. I must admit that I kind of gave up towards the end, as I did not build the other three vehicles and the tool crate, that this set included, as I had planned. In all, this project took me about 16 hours to build, from start to finish.

Honestly? No, I haven't. I've kind of left my brick-building projects days long behind. Back then, all there really was LeoCAD, MLCAD, and the now defunct Lego Digital Designer. I'm kind of surprised at how many Lego CAD programs there are now, compared to when I was still creating my models.
