So today I was bored so I decided to help my dad with his delivery route today. He works for a small brewing company in the East Midlands of the UK. In the mornings he and another driver have to 'fine' the casks ready to go out to the day's locations (which basically means adding stuff to make the sediment settle).

As the 'fining' is going on, the barrels have to be taken out of the cellar and labelled/scanned to make sure they're going on the right van/route and to the right pub. This involves stacking them all in the bar area of the Brewery - a job I had.

In total these were 49, 8 gallon barrels that had to be arranged carefully =P And I also helped load and offload them into and out of my dad's van.

Anyway, this description is getting a bit long but I guess it's better than boring you all with a journal xD TTFN
