The Eye of the Tempest is a story set in Bernard Doove's Chakat Universe. The FSS Archangel, a small scientific vessel, has begun her maiden voyage. Kaia Cougari, however, is the last man you'd expect among the crew, carrying a troubled and secretive past. But when their exploratory mission becomes more dangerous than any of them could have imagined, they find that there is more to the storm than meets the eye.
