Jirra Martin
Height:6' 8"
Weight:225 lbs
Species: Peacock Jumping Spider
Backstory:
Born in a small village just outside of the city of Darwin, Jirra's life didn't promise any grand expectations. He was born mute, but learned both sign language and Morse code before too long; able to sign with his hands and create clicks via use of his pedipalps. He was content living the simple life of a farmer till one fateful night when the family TV showed him something he had never seen before. A group of fur all running around a wooden court and throwing a ball around. Ten year Jirra quickly asked his father what it was and was told that the game in question was something called basketball. The young spider watched one with just one thought on his mind, "I want that to be me."
By the time he was fifteen, he had fashioned himself a crude court and spent worked to learn the game. In between chores, he could be found behind the house, practicing, and practicing, and practicing. Because his school was too small to have an official team, he saved up his money and by the time he left high school, he had the money and the training to go join a local sports league in Darwin. Traveling between work on the farm and the gym, he was able to get on the league's official team by the time he was 21. That team then went onto to win enough to get into the inter-city championship. There, they made it to the third round, before losing. It wasn't a total lose however, for there was where Aida Manchester would see the spider, seeing potential in him despite the team’s loss. She signed him later that month and started him on his way to the FBA.

You have a peacock jumping spider sona! Nayo does too! :3 It's her! *points to self*
I've been considering revamping my sona's colours to a more realistic peacock jumping spider style and this really inspires me to work towards that once more.
:3 I absolutely love this Character of yours, i think he is absolutely adorable and unique!

Ahh, that's so cool. They're pretty obscure, so I didn't expect anyone else to have a character of his species.
These aren't totally accurate, because it was kind of hard to determine body color, but I'm glad that I've inspired you. I definitely need to get more stuff of this guy done because a lot of people seem to really like him 'w' Thank you so much for the kind words ^w^

I've loved peacock spiders since the first video was placed on facebook, as i tend to love obscure things. >.<
My canadian friends pointed them out to me and well since my sona is a herm then the peacock spider was PERFECT for the male part of nayo's anatomy. :3 As it represented a "masculine" side of the anatomy without being strangely proportioned or fetish based.
Your guy is a total cutie, i'd love to see him in more work!

I'm usually a massive arachnophobe, but this type of spider is okay in my book. I discovered them from a gif of one playing bongos.
Always interesting to see what inspires people to combine different elements together. Excellent job on your redesign, I really like the way you worked the two different species together 'w'
Hopefully, I'll both art and stories up for this guy, just gotta sit down and work on them.
